Three simple tips for you would be : take the picture under natural sun lighting, use &quot;macro&quot; function and only focus on a portion of the food at an angle (rather than the whole plate of food). 

If you compare the photos which I took 2 years ago (in some of the earlier posts here), you&#039;ll find an amazing difference what those tips can do to your photos. And yes, all the photos (old and current) are using the same camera :D</description>
